Zeenat Wilkinson is a New Zealand-based freelance stylist, producer and founder of the local online publication Sauce Magazine, a platform that celebrates diverse voices and offers daily inspiration from noteworthy people of all backgrounds. After studying at London’s Central Saint Martins, Zeenat spent time working as a stylist and editor in both London and Mumbai, contributing to publications such as Vogue India, Grazia India, and Nylon US. In 2012, she moved to New Zealand and worked for a handful of local titles before realising a gap in the market for something authentic, relaxed, yet still curated within the digital space. This realisation led to the inception of Sauce Magazine.

“The goal was to use my cumulative experiences from working in the publishing industry to create an online community that caters to multicultural and diverse women from all backgrounds. I wanted to bring a sense of community with real recommendations from women that inspire us everyday. Something that I felt was lacking in print media and online tastemakers, as they can sometimes lack authenticity. Sauce is a bridge between the fast moving digital world and slow but inspiriting content that provides joy and emotional inspiration.” - Zeenat Wilkinson
